What is EARN (Employment Services)?
EARN empowers job seekers experiencing homelessness, or near homeless, to find and maintain employment. It is the only employment program of its kind in northern Colorado. We offer one-on-one employment support, operate a Career Closet, and partner with businesses that hire our participants (or support our participants in other ways).
How to Access EARN Employment Services:
Eligibility:
- You must be an individual who is homeless or at severe risk of becoming homeless AND:
- Working with the EARN program, another agency/caseworker, staffing company, or other entity that can verify that you are working towards gaining employment.
NOTE: If you need help with interview or work clothing, we can provide assistance on a case-by-case basis even if you don’t have a voucher or letter of verification.
The program offers the opportunity for referred participants to access the following services and resources:
- Individualized Employment Mentorship
- Job search training
- Resume building
- Employer connections
- Interview preparedness
- Career Closet
- Prescription eyeglasses
- Colorado ID, Driver’s License & Birth Certificate Vouchers
- Transportation assistance
- Virtual workshops and career counseling with Larimer County Economic and Workforce Development Center
- Job Club
- Access medical & SNAP benefits
