Re-Entry
What is Re-Entry?
Homeward Alliance's Work and Gain Education and Employment Skills (WAGEES) Re-entry Program exists to serve individuals exiting the criminal justice system, by providing them with wrap-around support so that participants can reach a level of sustainable, self-sufficiency in their community. The program focuses on helping participants work on their mindset, employment/education goals and securing stable housing.
How to Access Re-Entry:
Eligibility:
- On parole (or released from prison in the last 12 months)
- Live in Larimer or Jackson County.
- 18+ y/o
People who choose to enroll and actively participate in the WAGEES program are eligible to receive services such as:
- Case management (goal setting, problem solving, resource connections, and more)
- Employment Preparation and Placement
- Work Clothing and Tool Assistance (pay for clothing/boots/shoes required by employer or clothing for interviews, also for small tools required by the employers)
- Individual Mentoring
- Identification Acquisition (i.e. fees for Driver’s License, Birth Certificate, etc.)
- Vocational Training Cost Assistance
- Transportation Assistance (i.e., bus route navigation, bike assistance, etc.)
- Medical Benefits Acquisition (medical and mental health)
- Rental Assistance (first month’s rent and deposit if actively engaged in the program)
- Family Reunification/Parenting support
- Education Assistance (fees for classes and books)
- Substance Use Supports (connection to sober living, drug/alcohol treatment, etc.)
