On-Site Providers
Please note that not every agency is on-site at all times. For example, some agencies are at the Murphy Center daily, while others are only here a few days or hours during the week. Please call us at (970) 494-9940 or visit us at 242 Conifer Street for an up-to-date schedule of services.
- The mission of 4 Paws Pet Pantry is to help families stay together during times of financial crisis, and reduce the emotional and financial burden that results from families suddenly thrust into poverty from having to make hard decisions about their pets.
- They provide temporary, emergency pet food and basic supplies for pets when their owners are facing economic hardships. The Murphy Center is proud to be a distribution point for 4 Paws Pet Pantry.
- Pet food is generally available during regular Murphy Center hours (Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5PM)
Colorado State University Social Work department has long partnered with the Murphy Center to provide BSW and MSW student interns who lend their energy and educational experience to helping us deliver a variety of services to our guests.
Case management services to those living with HIV.
Testing services for HIV, Hepatitis C, and STIs are available on the fourth Thursday of every month (8AM-11AM).

Crossroads provides emergency safe housing, advocacy, legal assistance, rapid rehousing and crisis intervention for victims of domestic violence. Call Crossroads directly for Resource Navigation hours at their site (970-482-3502).
Anyone who identifies as being disabled is eligible to receive services.
- Case Management: Independent living skills, peer support, employment assistance, advocacy, housing assistance, financial assistance, and social security assistance
- Community Assistance Services: Information and referrals, volunteer coordination, durable medical equipment rentals and disability awareness

DMV2GO visits the Murphy Center on the 3rd Wednesday of the month to help with the following needs:
- First time: Colorado Driver License or ID card
- Out-of-State Transfers
- Renew: Driver License, Permit, Identification Card,
- Issue New: Driver License, Permit, Identification Card
- Motor Vehicle Records
- Reinstatements
- Colorado Roads and Community Safety Act services

A lottery for a bed at The Fort Collins Rescue Mission is held Monday - Friday at the Murphy Center for male identifying persons seeking overnight shelter.
To register for the lottery, sign up at the front desk at the Murphy Center before 2 pm each day. Lottery results are available at 3 pm. Ask the Front Desk or call the Mission directly to see the results.

COVID immunizations and blood pressure/cholesterol screenings are available on a periodic basis., contact the Murphy Center Front Desk or call (970) 494-9940 for more information.
- Gear Room: Services will be available Monday-Friday. From 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM, you may visit the front desk to sign up. Names will then be called starting at 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM. Please note: Guest’s Intake must be up to date for full access to the Gear Room.
- Family Services: Helps families secure housing and a network of bilingual support. Contact Brenda@HomewardAlliance.org or call (970) 430-6513.
- Bike Repair: Repairs and maintenance for bicycles. Seasonal. Email Mark@homewardalliance.org for more information or ask at the front desk.
- Resource Navigator: Enrolls people in benefits, such as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP or “food stamps”), Medicaid, Aid to the Needy and Disabled (AND), Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+), Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP), Old Age Pension (OAP), and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families; helps with Identification Attainment, Medical and Dental Navigation, and much more. Notify the Front Desk that you would like an appointment.
- M-F Walk-in slots are given out at 8 am
- Afternoon slots available by appointment for people with work and other scheduling conflicts
- Fridays at Old Town Library from 2:00 PM until 4:30 PM
- Re-Entry: Employment, educational services, re-entry mentoring and housing search assistance for individuals who are on parole. Walk-in hours and by appointment. Email claire@homewardalliance.org or call (970) 439-1814 for more information.
- Employment Services: Helps job seekers find and maintain employment, job search training, resume building, employer connections, interview preparedness, referrals for ID vouchers and birth certificates, transportation assistance, and a Career Closet. - Mobile Laundry Provides wash, dry and fold services at outreach locations in Fort Collins and Loveland. Contact Laundry@homewardalliance.org for more information.
Homeward Alliance operates the Murphy Center; the Murphy Center is an initiative of Homeward Alliance.
- Serves people living with mental health conditions who face felony-level charges in Larimer County
- Supports participants to engage in restoration activities while out of custody (such as outpatient treatment) and provides a connection to community resources

LCDHE offers immunizations on the second Thursday of every month (includes COVID vaccine, Flu shots, Hep-A and TDAP)
The League of Women Voters of Larimer County believes that every citizen should be protected in the right to Vote.
The Murphy Center opens its door to League members to inform Murphy Center participants of their eligibility to register and provides a place for them to receive a mail-in ballot.
The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan, grassroots organization working to protect and expand voting rights and ensure everyone is represented in our democracy.
The NOCO HRA (Harm Reduction Alliance), includes the following providers: NOCO CAReS, SummitStone Health Partners, North Colorado Health Alliance, CO-SLAW (Colorado Opioid Synergy Larimer and Weld) and North Range Behavioral Health.
The Murphy Center hosts the first ever Harm Reduction vending machine in the State of Colorado. All community members are welcome to access supplies--including naloxone (life-saving medication that can reverse an overdose from opioids—including heroin, fentanyl, and prescription opioid medications—when given in time), test strips, menstruation kits and hygiene kits.
To access the supplies, ask the staff at the Front Desk for a code. You do not need to be a registered client of the Murphy Center to use this service. All community members--both housed and unhoused--are welcome to take what they need.

- Spirit Crossing Clubhouse, a place to build employment skills and build relationship
- Jon Geller, DVM and his organization The Street Dog Coalition, offer free medical care for Murphy Center pets
- Tuesdays, 2PM – 3PM (6 animals/week)

Who qualifies?
- The services are open to individuals at risk of or experiencing homelessness.
- There is no restriction due to insurance or ability to pay
- Assists veterans that are experiencing homelessness or are at risk for homelessness in accessing eligible services through VA programs or other community programs.

The Yarrow Collective hosts a group at the Murphy Center every Wednesday from 10 - 11 a.m. The group, called Risk Less Live More, offers acudetox.
